• Provide AI-powered food analysis
• Track your nutrition and fitness progress
• Generate meal timing suggestions
• Send local notification reminders (if you enable them)

Data processing happens on your device or via secure, limited API calls as described in this policy.

Third-Party Services

Google (Sign in with Google): If you use Sign in with Google, Google’s authentication and privacy policies apply to that sign-in flow.

AI providers: We may use services such as Google Gemini and/or other APIs for food photo and text analysis. Images are processed for nutritional estimates and are not stored by us for marketing. GroQ or similar APIs may be used for coaching tips; no food data is shared with them for advertising.

Expo / push: If you enable notifications, delivery is handled by Expo’s notification services. We do not share personal health data with these services for advertising.

Data Storage & Security

• Personal data is stored on your device and, when you sign in, in your account (e.g. Supabase) as needed to provide the service.
• We use industry-standard practices to protect your data.
• You can delete your account and data through the app or by contacting us.

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Nutritional estimates from our AI are approximations only. They may not be accurate for all foods and should not be used as the sole basis for medical or dietary decisions. Always verify critical nutritional information from reliable sources.

Health Disclaimer

FITENTO is for general fitness and wellness only. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Consult a healthcare provider before starting any new diet or exercise program, especially if you have medical conditions.

Your Rights

You can access and update your data in the app, delete your account and data, disable notifications, and uninstall the app at any time to stop use and remove local data.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, FITENTO is provided “as is.” We disclaim liability for damages arising from app use and are not responsible for decisions made based on app data or AI estimates.
